From Al Khor to Al Shahaniya, over 100 Qatari farms will offer seasonal vegetables , honey, dates, and other products, providing direct access for consumers while reinforcing the nation’s food security ambitions.

The Ministry of Municipality, through its Agricultural Affairs Department, announced that operations for the 2025/2026 local agricultural produce markets will begin on Thursday, 6 November 2025. Seasonal markets will be established in Al Khor, Al Thakhira, Al Wakrah, Al Shamal, and Al Shahaniya, while the Al Mazrouah market continues to operate year-round.
Markets will be open to visitors every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. More than 100 Qatari farms are set to participate, offering high-quality local products to residents and visitors alike.

- The first market in Al Mazrouah involved 24 farms, selling 884 tons of agricultural products.
- By the 2014/2015 season, participation had increased to 166 farms, with total sales reaching 10,679 tons, equivalent to 12% of total marketed local production.
