NEW DELHI: The Enforcement Directorate on Monday conducted searches TMC MLA Jiban Krishna Saha along with his relatives in connection to alleged irregularities in the hiring of teachers and staffers in schools in West Bengal.

Saha came to know about the raid, he allegedly tried to flee his house by scaling the boundary wall of the premises.
The MLA tried to escape by jumping from first floor and scaling the wall but was caught by ED team.
Earlier, Saha was arrested by the CBI in 2023 for his alleged links to the "scam" and later released.
