Xbox Cloud Gaming access and subscription details
Xbox Cloud Gaming is available in India through a Game Pass subscription – just like its availability in other markets. The service is bundled with the newly-updated Game Pass plans introduced by Microsoft in October: Essential, Premium and Ultimate. Cloud streaming is also accessible through the PC Game Pass subscription.

Last month, Microsoft restructured its Game Pass offerings, replacing the previous Core and Standard plans with the new Essential and Premium tiers, and increasing prices while adding more benefits, including unlimited cloud streaming across all new tiers.


What is Xbox Cloud gaming The core appeal of Cloud Gaming is that it allows users to stream hundreds of Xbox titles directly from the cloud without owning an Xbox console or any powerful machine whatsoever. Users can access cloud-playable games, and even select titles from their own library, via the Xbox app on a wide range of compatible devices: PC, Mac and mobile devices (iOS and Android).

How and where to Stream Xbox Games
Apart from smartphones, tablets and PCs, users can stream games on Windows-based gaming handhelds, including Microsoft's own ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, which were recently launched in India. Microsoft has also announced that it is partnering with companies like Samsung and LG smart TVs, and Amazon Fire TV, allowing users to stream games on the big screen.

To start streaming games, users need a high-speed internet connection of about 20Mbps and a compatible controller, which includes both the Xbox Wireless controller and Sony’s DualSense controller. Select titles also support touch and keyboard/mouse controls.

On PCs, users can stream games via Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and Apple’s Safari on xbox.com/play, sign-in with your Xbox account and start playing.
