Fujifilm unviels FUJINON HZK14-100mm 'Duvo Portable' wide-angle broadcast zoom lens in India

Fujifilm India has introduced the FUJINON HZK14-100mm ' Duvo Portable ' lens, expanding its Duvo series of broadcast zoom lenses. The new lens combines cinematic visuals with the intuitive operation of broadcast lenses, catering to the growing demand for large sensor cameras in the broadcast industry .

The HZK14-100mm is the first wide zoom model in the Duvo series, offering a versatile 14mm wide-angle to 100mm mid-telephoto range. It features dual-format compatibility, supporting both Super 35mm and full-frame sensors. With its compact design, measuring 266.9mm in length and weighing just 2.54kg, the lens ensures high mobility and ease of use in various production environments.

Key features of the FUJINON HZK14-100mm include a 7.1x zoom range (14-100mm in Super 35, extending to 21-150mm with the built-in 1.5x expander), a maximum aperture of T2.9, and advanced aspheric elements and Super-ED lenses for reduced aberrations and beautiful bokeh. The lens also boasts a broadcast-style drive unit for smooth zoom and focus control and is compatible with third-party cinema accessories.

The lens was launched in the presence of renowned director Leena Yadav and acclaimed cinematographer Aseem Bajaj . Yadav praised the lens as an "enabler of imagination," while Bajaj expressed excitement about its potential for cinematic shots in low light conditions.
