Last night, Michael Jordan appeared in a video message during NBC’s presentation in New York.

Michael Jordan said, “I am so excited to see the NBA back on NBC. The NBA on NBC was a meaningful part of my career, and I’m excited about being a special contributor to the project. I’m looking forward to seeing you all when the NBA on NBC launches this October.”

NBC Sports president Rick Cordella also spoke about Michael Jordan’s contribution and said, “Michael’s legacy both on and off the court speaks for itself. We’re incredibly proud to have him join our coverage.”

Now, as per reports, the new deal with NBC is worth a whopping $40 million per year, making his deal one of the most expensive deals in the recent times. Tom Brady, the NFL legend, has a deal with FOX Sports for $37.5 million, which is still less than what Michael Jordan’s new deal is getting him.

While Michael Jordan sold the majority of his stake in the Charlotte Hornets in 2019, he continues to own his NASCAR team. Apart from this, Michael Jordan also endorses popular brands including McDonald’s, Coca-Cola Cola and Gatorade.
