Who is Savi Jain? The nation topper from Shamli who almost scored a perfect 500 in CBSE class 12

It’s that time of year when students and their families across the country navigate the usual mix of nerves, excitement, and relief. The CBSE board exam results for Classes 10 and 12 were officially declared on May 13, 2025, ending weeks of anticipation and feeling of restlessness among those who appeared for the board exams. With lakhs of students refreshing result pages and checking their scores, emotions ran high, and social media was filled with stories of triumphs, tears, and everything in between.

Like every year, there are students who outshine others with their good earned hard work and all the endeavours that they put in to reach the zenith of success throughout the year in the form of the numbers and percentages. This year this position was taken by a girl who has done the near-impossible, named Savi Jain , who secured a massive 499 out of 500, one of the highest marks in the country.



Who is Savi Jain?


Savi Jain, a student of Scottish International School in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, has become a national inspiration after scoring 499/500 in the CBSE Class 12 examinations. With a perfect 100 score in English, Political Science, Geography, Economics, and Painting, and 99 in History, her achievement is as rare as it is extraordinary.
Savi’s academic performance has brought immense pride not only to her school but also to her hometown and family. Her journey is proof of what discipline and focus can accomplish, regardless of background.


What routine did she follow to achieve the outstanding marks?

Speaking to PTI, Savi shared that she believed in a structured and consistent approach to her studies. “I used to study for 4 to 5 hours every day. After school, I attended tuitions and then took some time to rest,” she said. “I followed a fixed daily schedule, planning in advance which subject to focus on. My goal was to understand each topic so thoroughly that I could be confident about at least 99% of it.”


She credits her success to an unwavering support system

Savi also quickly credited those who stood beside her throughout the journey. “The credit for my success goes to my parents, teachers, principals, administrators, and the school director. Each of them has played a vital role in helping me reach this milestone and in believing in my potential,” she said in the same PTI interview.

Coming from a modest background, with her father running a small furniture shop and her mother being a homemaker, Savi’s journey is a true example of how relentless support and belief from loved ones can get extraordinary success.


She dreams for a bigger goal in life!

Despite all the praise, Savi remains grounded and focused on her future and her goal is to serve the nation. “I want to become a civil servant and join the Indian Administrative Service (IAS),” she told PTI. Her message to students across the country is simple and powerful, stating which she said, “Work hard, stay consistent, and always learn from your mistakes.”


Saavi’s success was met with endless celebrations and praise

There were a lot of celebrations in Shamli as news of Saavi Jain’s result spread across the town. Her school, Scottish International School, marked the occasion by distributing sweets and holding a special ceremony in her honour.

The principal said, “Saavi has always been a hardworking and disciplined student. We are proud of her.” Her parents also talked about her journey, crediting her dedication and a pressure-free, supportive environment for the result. Local officials, including the District Magistrate and education representatives, extended their congratulations. MPs also praised her, announcing plans to felicitate her for bringing pride to the district.
