Actor Saanand Verma, who is known for his character Anokhe Lal Saxena in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, is happy that the show is being made into a film. He shares how he feels blessed to be part of this journey. “There are very few actors who get to be part of a show, which is being made into a film. I feel grateful and lucky. It’s because I have my mother’s and God’s blessings," he said.
Sanand shared further, “My journey of playing Saxenaji is an interesting one. No other character has given me so much happiness. I am overwhelmed with the love and recognition I have received from masses. Working with our director, Shashank Bali, has been a blessing. He is immensely talented, and the way he has brought Saxenaji's journey to life is spectacular. I am thankful to him and to our writer, Manoj Santoshi, who originally created this character. The excitement has doubled to see our sitcom transition to the big screen under Shashank Bali’s direction.”
Talking about his takiya kalam in the show, he said, “I like it’ has become a hit with masses. It brings a heightened level of happiness when the audience hears it. Many people refer to me by this line, and whenever they see me, they greet me with ‘I like it’.”
Saanand is happy that he gets to play a role with interesting shades. He said, “Being part of a successful and beloved show like Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain does come with a certain level of responsibility, but I don’t see it as pressure. I see it as a challenge to deliver something even better and to live up to the audience’s expectations. Our film’s script is phenomenal, and I have no doubt that it will be loved by audiences. The level of storytelling, humour, and entertainment in the film is on another level. Moreover, with talented actors like Mukesh Tiwari, Ravi Kishan, Brijendra Kala and Dinesh Lal Yadav being a part of the project, it is going to be a cinematic experience worth watching. I am confident that we will do justice to the film,” he said.
