Actor Aamir Ali recalls being sexually harassed at the age of 14; reveals, "I was being touched in train"

Actor Aamir Ali, who is loved and known for his work in the telly industry recently left everyone shocked as he shared a traumatic experience from his childhood. The actor opened up about getting harassed at the age of 14 and the impact it left on him ever since. In an interview with Hauterrfly, the actor mentioned that he was touched inappropriately in a train.




Aamir Ali recently spoke about the unpleasant experiences he had in his life and how it bothered him for years. However, Aamir also mentioned that he has moved past it and has understood that there’s no point in keeping grudges.


He said, "When you are young and the first time I traveled in a train... The reason I stopped travelling in trains because I was being touched. I was 14. Then I started started holding my bag closer to my back side. Then one day, someone stole books from my bag and I was like 'Who steals books?' And I decided I won't travel in a train," Aamir Ali recalled his harrowing experience.

He further said, "Then, I had a couple of friends who came out and said that they have feelings for a man, and I know them so well. They are like my brothers. I can sleep with them on the same bed. And when they came out, then I felt like that just because of a couple of experiences, I can't judge the whole world. When you mature, you understand, your thoughts change.”


Aamir had recently also made headlines after he was spotted with a mystery girl at a party. Fans had reacted to the same questioning if she was a friend or a potential romantic connection. The actor was previously married to actress Sanjeeda Sheikh.
