Berhampur: The decomposed body of a 50-year-old woman was recovered on Friday from the cashew orchard near Chamundi hill under Ganjam district's Digapahandi police station limits. The woman was suspected to have died around seven to 10 days ago. Several parts of her body were eaten by wild animals. "The body was almost like a skeleton. A saree was lying near the body," said PK Patra, inspector in-charge, Digapahandi police station. A police team from Digapahandi reached the spot and recovered the body, which was sent to MKCG Medical College for a post-mortem.
