Jaipur: The health department will continue its blood donation campaign which was started as an emergency measure due India-Pakistan conflict.
The department will ensure maintenance of optimal stock levels, especially for critical blood groups. It will encourage regular donors to donate blood in blood centres as well as in blood donation camps.
Following the directions, the SMS Hospital has started its blood donation drive by organising camps in different areas of Jaipur, said an official.
Health minister Gajendra Khimsar Sunday reviewed disaster management preparedness and held a meeting with district-level officials in the Collectorate auditorium. tnn
