Ludhiana: A scooter was completely damaged after it caught fire in Dakha village on Monday, creating panic in the area.
Sukhveer Singh, owner of the scooter, said he was going to his children's school for a parents-teachers' meeting when on the way, his two-wheeler stopped. He added that after many attempts, it did not start, so he parked it under the shade and went to the nearby bus stand.
Sukhveer said soon people started raising an alarm that his two-wheeler had caught fire. He added that by the time he reached there, the fire was so intense that it was impossible to douse it.
Sukhveer Singh said that in no time, the scooter was completely burnt.
