Raichur: Four persons from Hindupur Mandal in Andhra Pradesh tragically lost their lives, and one person was injured in a road accident that occurred near Amarapur Cross in Devdurg taluk during the early hours of Friday. According to police, the group was travelling in a pickup truck en route to Shahapur in Yadgir district to buy sheep, when the driver lost control, resulting in a collision with the bridge near Amarapur Cross. The deceased are: Nagaraj, Soma, Nagabhushan, and Murali. The driver, Anand, sustained injuries and is currently receiving treatment at RIMS. The Gabbur police filed a case and initiated an investigation to ascertain what caused the accident.
