BJP appoints new district Presidents in Kalyan and Ulhasnagar ahead of Municipal Elections

THANE: In view of the upcoming municipal elections, the BJP has replaced several district presidents across the state and appointed new ones in their place. This includes the appointments of district presidents for Kalyan and Ulhasnagar, which fall under Thane district.

Nandu Parab has been appointed as the new district president of Kalyan, replacing Nana Suryavanshi, while the dynamic Rajesh Vadhrya has taken over as the district president of Ulhasnagar, replacing Pradeep Ramchandani.

After assuming his new responsibility, Parab adopted a stern stance and said he would work to strengthen the party in the twin city. He added, "In the upcoming Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation elections , the BJP mayor will be elected in KDMC."

On the other hand, Vadhrya, a senior corporator from Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation, is also seen as a dynamic leader in the city. He is well-educated and possesses deep knowledge of various civic issues, effectively presenting social concerns to the administration.

Vadhrya stated that he will work to strengthen the party in the city and strive for a strong BJP victory in the Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation elections .

Following the appointment of both leaders, party workers are in high spirits. Earlier, during Pradeep Ramchandani’s tenure as Ulhasnagar district president, he was known for raising party issues but also faced strong opposition from within the party.
