Darragh Ennis didn't hold back after one player managed to outrun him on The Chase. The Menace faced contestants Azad, Kirsty, Tom and Lisa during Tuesdsay's instalment of the ITV programme, which originally aired in 2023.
But the team's hopes of walking away with some cash quickly diminished after Azad and Kirsty were both knocked out, despite impressive cash builder rounds.
Tom was the third contestant to battle it out with Darragh, playing for £4,000. After Tom narrowly made it through to the final chase, Darragh claimed he was "borderline lucky" to beat him.
"For the first few players I didn't get a question wrong and I caught them. I got a couple wrong there and I was one behind you, so you were borderline lucky to get through there. But you played well so you probably deserved it," Darragh told his rival.
Tom then suffered a major blow as Lisa was also knocked out, leaving him to face Darragh in the final chase alone. However, he shocked the room with his performance, finishing on a score of 14.
