Piers Morgan was left baffled as he clashed with liberal activist and Texas state representative Jolanda Jones live on his Uncensored show. The pair were arguing about Kamala Harris' 2024 election defeat to Donald Trump when things turned heated, with Piers branding the former vice president "completely and utterly delusional".
Jones fumed: "I respectfully disagree," but Piers wasn't done, adding: "Okay, but let me explain why. Just to remind everybody, Donald Trump won back the White House. He won the popular vote and the Electoral College. The Republicans won control of the Senate and the House. It was a clean sweep!"
Jones said: "It was a very close election... And there was not a mandate."
The host was left clearly bemused as he asked: "So hang on. What is a mandate, then, to you?" and she replied: "To me, a mandate is when you win by a lot. By a lot. There's a whole bunch of votes separating you. There were not."
Piers argued: "But that's not what a mandate is in a democratic society. But Jolanda, Jolanda, that is fake news. A mandate in politics is whether you win or lose an election. And Donald Trump won emphatically... There was nothing left to win. It was literally the widest mandate imaginable."

Jones interjected: "And what I will say to you is there was a lot of voter suppression, including here in Texas. The Russians interfered in the election."
But she was skewered by social media users who watched the debate, one of whom wrote: "Why is it always Russia? If Russia did just half of what Democrats accused them of, we would be at war with them ourselves. They can't accept that America voted overwhelmingly against their candidate and policies. Russia had nothing to do with votes here in Texas."
"When all else fails circle back to Russia again," someone else laughed.
