Nutribullet and McLaren F1 Team joining forces was a collaboration I didn't see coming, but as a Formula 1 fan, I'm here for it. When the new arrived on my doorstep I couldn't resist ripping open the box and creating a delicious refreshing drink right away. The appliance is available in two colours, including McLaren F1 Team's iconic papaya orange which is the shade I opted for.
and are both selling the sleek and compact portable blender for £49.99. However, it currently costs £44.99 at shopping marketplace (owned by the Daily Express parent company Reach Plc). To snap up the gadget at this limited-time discounted price, simply apply the code SPRING10 at the checkout. The blender doesn't require a plug, with a single charge using the included USB-C charger providing roughly 15 blending cycles.
This makes the lightweight device ideal for whipping up drinks at work, the gym, on days out and trips away, as well as at home. As a keen camper, I think the blender will be the perfect companion to ensure I'm getting a healthy smoothie (or a cheeky cocktail) no matter where I'm pitched.
The comes with an extra-large 590ml cup, producing enough drink to fill two big glasses. It's safe to say the McLaren F1 Team gadget has learnt from Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, putting the pedal to the metal to produce a silky smooth drink in only 20 seconds.
Nutribullet beats alternatives on the market when it comes to capacity and speed. The similar , also priced at £49.99, comes with a slightly smaller 520ml cup and offers 10 blends on a single charge.
Amazon is selling a more budget-friendly for £21.99. This option offers less capacity, with it having a 500ml cup, however it claims to make up to 20 drinks from a single charge, more than the Nutribullet and Ninja devices.
The comes with a useful leakproof flip and sip lid, ensuring no spillage wherever you take your creation. The first time I used it, I decided to make a smoothie using a banana, strawberries, orange juice and a couple of ice cubes.
The portable blender is super easy to use; simply press the power button once to turn it on, and again to start blending. All of the fruit and ice was perfectly blended after just one 20-second cycle, ready for me to drink right away.
This impressive performance puts the in pole position when compared with other blenders I've tried in the past that take longer to blend the ingredients and are more fiddly, especially the plug-in appliances. The only slight downside is the position of the power button on the base of the portable blender.
It's quite easy to accidentally press it, so it can be hard to avoid turning the gadget on while unscrewing the cup, cleaning the base, or carrying the blender. Thankfully the blades don't start on the first press of the button, and the blender also won't turn on if the cup isn't properly attached. Furthermore, the gadget turns itself off after two minutes of inactivity, providing peace of mind.
The Nutribullet McLaren F1 Team range also includes the , priced at £149.99. Described as the 'most powerful, quietest and fastest personal blender yet', it offers two blending options and produces the drink in 30 seconds.
Overall, I'm super impressed with the sleek and have used it every day since it arrived. I can see myself using it frequently at home, on staycations and camping trips.
It's also ideal for creating a refreshing beverage ahead of a Grand Prix that you can sip throughout the on-track excitement. With McLaren F1 Team's current impressive form, we'll hopefully be able to raise many glasses to Norris and Piastri as they take to the podium throughout the 2025 season.
