The trio of motoring fanatics filmed their last episode of the streaming series last October, but now it seems that the series will continue without them.

A source told the press: "Thomas and James are as knowledgeable about motors as Jeremy, Richard and James - the only difference is they're younger, cooler and a lot more social media savvy. Francis became famous for his love of trainspotting and will be bringing his humour to the show."
Francis, whose real name is Luke Magnus Nicolson, built up a following on social media as he shared his love of trains. The 24-year-old plays up his posh persona through his invented character, and has racked up an impressive 144,000 subscribers on YouTube, where he vlogs about his exploits watching trains. Meanwhile, over on , he has amassed more than 3 million followers.

The transition is set to mark a significant shift for the programme. It will adapt to a younger demographic whilst maintaining its focus on automotive content. However, fans have been fuming as they said that the show won't be the same. One disappointed fan penned: "I mean, what's the point the show was created for Jeremy, James and Richard."

"This will have the same fate as Top Gear. When will Studios realise Clarkson, Hammond and May are why we watched," another added. Meanwhile, a third wrote: "I've not heard of any of them. As many others have said, Clarkson and Hammond and May are a big part of why I watched Top Gear and the Grand Tour.
"I'm not really interested in cars, but they were such an entertaining trio it made the shows worth watching and rewatching."
Clarkson, Hammond and May had previously fronted the 's Top Gear before moving to The Grand Tour. Now Clarkson has left the world of motoring behind and instead hosts a show about the struggles of agriculture, in Clarkson's Farm.
