Good Morning Britain left viewers furious within the first 10 minutes of the show on Monday morning (September 22).
As they covered the memorial of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, they shared a video onto the GMB X page, it was captioned: "The widow of American conservative activist Charlie Kirk says she forgives his killer. Erika Kirk gave an emotional speech at a memorial service in Arizona overnight - just 11 days after he was assassinated at a university event in Utah."
However, the caption underneath the live footage read: "Charlie Kirk: Memorial held for far-right commentator", which is the same description that caused Susanna Reid to fume at Kevin Maguire last week.
The banner caused utter outrage as people quickly spotted the claim added on by GMB.
Viewers immediately rushed to the comments to share their fury over the remark as one user wrote: "'Far right'. How wrong and disrespectful."
Another wrote: "Far right getting thrown around again."
Another said: "I really don't like the tone of this coverage, but that's this awful show for you." A third said: "That comment underneath is absolutely disgusting. Shame on you."
While another fumed they should "all be sacked".
Last week, Kevin Maguire referred to Charlie Kirk as "far-right", prompting Susanna to immediately jump in, stating: "Far right is a little extreme Kevin, right-wing agitator".
At each claim Kevin made, the host was telling him she "doesn't think that's true" as she attempted to pull his claims back to a neutral ground. She added: "I don't think you know the nature of all the people who back him."
Co-host Richard Madeley added: "Mind our language, when a man, a young father, whatever you think of his political statements of the past, when he dies in such a horrendous manner, we have to watch how we speak."
Kevin declared that Kirk, who famously hosted his "prove me wrong" campaign by leading debates at colleges across the US, was a "hate preacher".
The coverage of Charlie Kirk has continued due to his memorial service this weekend following the assassination in Utah which saw 22-year-old Tyler Robinson charged with his murder.
At the memorial service, Charlie Kirk's wife Erika said: "I forgive him", about Robinson, adding: "The answer to hate is not hate."
GMB airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
