As the weather turns cooler, many shoppers may be thinking about refreshing their bedrooms with warmer textures and autumnal tones. A great way to transform a bedroom for the season without having to spend much or crack open a tin of paint is with a fresh bedding set. George at Asda has released a duvet set that not only looks perfect for the chillier months but can also be picked up for a fraction of its usual price thanks to a limited-time deal using money-saving site TopCashback.
For a limited time, new customers to TopCashback can get the double duvet set for as little as £4.17. The deal works by signing up to the cashback site, which is currently offering a special £20 bonus until Sunday night.
When combined with the regular cashback on the George purchase, the cost of the £20 set comes down to just £4.17. After the weekend deadline, the usual new customer bonus of £15 will apply, which would make the bedding £9.17 for a double.
The textured, woven cord jacquard vine duvet set comes in a neutral, dark green design with a raised, tufted vine pattern across the fabric. Made from 100% polyester, it has a slightly textured finish, which gives the material a quilted look. The reverse is described as being made from smooth microfibre for comfort. The set fastens with buttons and is both machine-washable (at 30 °C) and suitable for tumble-drying, making it easy to look after.
The textured jacquard design gives the set a more expensive look without the higher price tag, while the earthy colour palette means it will suit a variety of bedrooms.
Shoppers have praised George bedding in the past for balancing affordability with style, offering buyers the chance to update their homes with the latest trends without breaking the bank. Although there aren't any reviews yet on the green tufted duvet set, given that it is a new release for autumn, George shoppers have described similar bedding as good quality and value for money.
Commenting on a similar jacquard design, one shopper wrote: "This is a really nice duvet set and definitely premium quality!"
While another person wrote: "Very comfy and quality is good for the price."
Prices start at £20 for a single and rise to £25 for a double (for which the £4.17 Top Cashback deal applies), £30 for a king, and £35 for a super king. Each set includes pillowcases - one for a single and two for the larger sizes.
