This Morning host Cat Deeley has reportedly told her stylist to dress her "more like Kate Middleton" - with the TV star making no secret that the Princess of Wales is her ultimate fashion inspiration. The 47-year-old presenter has long been admired for her laid-back glamour, but her recent looks have sparked talk of a royal influence. A showbiz insider revealed: "Cat loves Kate's look. She thinks the Princess has the perfect balance of sophistication and relatability - she always looks regal, but never unapproachable.
"Cat feels that if she mirrors some of that styling, it reinforces her own image as polished, elegant and trustworthy. The comparisons are great for her brand, and she knows viewers respond well to it. Kate's style is timeless, and Cat wants to project the same aura on television every day." Cat has been spotted in a black-and-white polka dot dress that instantly drew comparisons to Kate's head-turning outfit at Royal Ascot in 2022.

Cinched at the waist with a wide belt, Cat's version maintained the same refined silhouette that made Kate's Ascot look one of her most memorable.
Another look saw Copy-Cat step out in a vibrant red knitted midi dress paired with knee-high boots and a statement River Island belt. It's impossible to ignore the similarities to Kate's own red knitted coat, worn in 2021.
The royal parallels don't stop at dresses. One accessory in particular has sealed the comparison: a pair of £25 Orelia London Chain Huggie Hoops.
The 18-carat gold-plated earrings, featuring a subtle chain-texture, have been worn by Kate to more than ten engagements, including a trip to Maidenhead Rugby Club in 2021.
Cat has been spotted wearing the exact same pair, giving them a casual twist on the beach with a sweatshirt.
Our TV source added: "It's clear she's leaning on Kate for fashion cues, right down to the accessories."
And then there's the pussy-bow blouse - a long-time Kate staple. Cat recently presented This Morning in a golden silk LK Bennett blouse with a statement bow at the neck, a look that echoes the Princess's signature tie-neck styles.
"The pussy-bow has become a royal trademark," our insider noted. "Seeing Cat adopt the same look feels like a very deliberate nod."
Cat has also been mirroring Kate's style choices through the very brands she wears. In January she appeared on This Morning in a cosy cream cashmere jumper by ME+EM - a high-street label that the Princess of Wales has repeatedly championed.
Cat also turned heads in a Ganni Broderie Anglaise midi skirt, another subtle nod to Middleton style as both Kate and her sister Pippa Middleton have worn Ganni on multiple occasions.
The insider added: "Cat knows she's not literally becoming Kate, but she's savvy. Tapping into that royal elegance helps her image hugely - it makes viewers see her as polished, aspirational and stylish, without losing the warmth that makes her so popular on daytime TV."
