Meerut, Uttar Pradesh — A shocking murder case in the Lisadi Gate area has left residents horrified after a viral video revealed how a 25-year-old youth named Adil was gunned down in cold blood. The disturbing clip shows the killer firing three bullets into Adil’s chest within just 12 seconds, while another man records the gruesome act.
The video not only exposed the brutality of the crime but also helped police in tracing the accused. In a swift operation, the main shooter, identified as Zulqamar, was injured in a police encounter after being shot in both legs. Another suspect, however, managed to escape under the cover of darkness.
The Murder Caught on CameraThe footage, now widely circulated on social media, shows Adil lying unconscious near a tube well. Suddenly, a man approaches and shoots him thrice in the chest. A second voice can be heard in the background, believed to be the individual recording the crime.
Police investigations revealed that the killer fled the scene on a motorcycle along with his associates, even making a short “reel” before escaping. According to police sources, the bike was being ridden by Hamza, who is alleged to have orchestrated the murder.
Timeline of Events-
September 30, 4 PM: Adil left his home after being called by some acquaintances. He told his mother he would return in 10 minutes but left his phone behind.
-
October 1, morning: His body was discovered near a tube well in Narheda village.
Family members allege that Adil was first given alcohol, then strangled, and finally shot dead. His elder brother Fazil lodged a complaint, naming eight men including Hamza, Zulqamar, Imran, Salman, Nawab, Shavez, and Iqbal.
Police Action and EncounterSenior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Vipin Tada confirmed that during a late-night check near Narheda, police intercepted two suspects. The accused opened fire, prompting police to retaliate. Zulqamar was injured in both legs and arrested on the spot. A pistol was recovered from his possession.
He reportedly confessed during interrogation that he killed Adil on Hamza’s instructions. Meanwhile, search operations continue to track down the remaining accused.
Links to Abrar Murder CaseInvestigators suspect possible connections between this killing and the earlier Abrar murder case, which shook the region months ago. Police have seized Adil’s mobile phone and are analyzing call detail records (CDR) to uncover any wider conspiracy.
Family’s GriefAdil, the youngest of three brothers, ran a small clothing shop to support his family after his father’s death. His mother, Farzana, broke down recalling her last conversation with him.
“I told him to take his phone, but he said he would be back soon. Now he will never return,” she said in tears.
