A 33-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped in a hotel in Jaipur on the pretext of getting her a job, police said on Thursday. According to police, the victim has accused Rinku Meena and Vinod of giving her a drink laced with sedatives before gangraping her.
SHO of Ramnagariya police station Arun Kumar said that the accused had promised to get her a job as a receptionist in a hotel but later blackmailed her by threatening to make the objectionable video they had viral.
The SHO said that fed up with the constant harassment, the victim lodged a case of gang rape against the two at the Ramnagariya police station.
The victim's identity has not been revealed to protect her privacy as per Supreme Court directives on sexual assault cases.
