Businessman and TV personality Tom Skinner has already caused a stir since joining this year's Strictly Come Dancing cast. After being announced as part of this year's line-up for the BBC show, Skinner, from Romford, revealed that he had cheated on his wife Sinead just weeks after their wedding which took place back in 2022.
The businessman, who owns a gym and a mattress company, was also seen socialising with US vice-president JD Vance at a barbecue during his visit to the Cotswolds this summer, with him pictured wearing a Maga (Make America Great Again) cap, just a few weeks before his casting news.
However, there is now a completely different detail about The Apprentice star Skinner that is causing a stir online – his age.

After he showed off his moves in the first Strictly show alongside partner Amy Dowden last Saturday (September 20), one fan shared a screenshot of Skinner, writing: "Thomas Skinner is 34-years-old."

The post quickly went viral, racking up more than 187,000 views and hundreds of comments, and it seems like many people thought Skinner was a tad more mature.
One person simply asked: "34?!?," while another added: "What? No, seriously. What?."
A third person shared a screenshot of his Wikipedia page, writing: "He really is 34."
While another added: "No, surely not!"
The comments came after many online also vented their fury about about pro dancer Amy, 35, having been paired with Skinner.
Many weren't a fan of Amy, who has recently battled breast cancer, being teamed up with Skinner due to his controversial nature.
One person fumed on X after the show: ""THEY ACTUALLY PUT AMY WITH HIM. Hasn’t she been through enough. WTF BBC #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing."
While another added: ""Poor Amy. She is really due a break #strictly."
A third chimed in: "WHO THE F*** DID THAT TO AMY. WE NEED TO HAVE SOME BIG BIG WORDS. #Strictly."
A fourth also asked: "wWhy’d they do this to Amy? #strictly."
Despite some backlash, Tom said he is "over the moon" with the pair as he joked he hopes Amy can teach him a few moves.
After appearing on the 15th series of Lord Sugar’s business show The Apprentice in 2019, Skinner gained a significant social media following and developed his catchphrase “bosh”.
He has since appeared on numerous TV shows, such as Celebrity MasterChef, 8 Out of 10 Cats and The Wheel.
Skinner also released his self-help book Graft: How to Smash Life in 2023 and presented The Men’s Room mental health podcast with former footballer Neil Ruddock last year.
