Netflix fans all had the same reaction when the streaming giant released new first-look images atthe second seasonof Nobody Wants This. The hit romantic comedy is due to return with a second series in October, following the success of the first last year.
On Thursday (August 14), Netflix shared a series of photos on social media teasing the new series, revealing that Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, Jackie Tohn, and Arian Moayed are all set to reprise their roles. "THE HOT RABBI IS BACKKKKK," one fan wrote on X. A second chimed in: "Yaay, hot rabbi is back." A third Netflix viewer added: "Hot Rabbi, we missed you!!!! #NobodyWantsThis."
Others were simply thrilled to see Nobody Wants This is returning and shared their excitement online. "GOD DAMN that was fast. Hell yeah!!!" one person said. Another wrote: "I WAS WAITING FOR THIS!!!"
A third Nobody Wants This fan said: "Excited to see what Season 2 has in store! Great cast vibes."
A fourth commented: "Kristen Bell AND Adam Brody back on my screen?? I’m seated #NobodyWantsThis."
Nobody Wants This series two will launch on October 23 on Netflix, and if the new teasers are anything to go by, it seems Noah (Adam Brody) and Joanne (Kristen Bell) might have worked things out.
The pair look cosy in the images, despite the first series ending with Joanne being hesitant to convert to Judaism after Noah was promoted to head rabbi.
The official season two synopsis reads: “First comes love, then comes life. The last time we saw agnostic podcast host Joanne and unconventional (hot) rabbi Noah their unmatched chemistry surprised everyone in their lives, including her sister Morgan, his brother Sasha and sister-in-law Esther, and even themselves.
"Their spark proved stronger than all of the obstacles trying to keep them apart. Now, they’re back and fully committed to merging their lives - and loved ones - together.
"But their differences still exist and can’t be ignored. The challenge now is not just falling in love against all odds, but staying together in spite of them.”
Nobody Wants This season two lands on Netflix on 23 October.
