Love Island in chaos as couple dumped from island moments after romantic final date

Love Island contestants enjoyed a romantic final date in the villa after the boys hit the town to find presents for their partners. After sitting down to enjoy a homemade meal from the boys, the stars received a text revealing that the couplewith the fewest votes would be dumped from the island.

It was revealed that Conor and Megan were dumped from the villa, much to the shock of the contestants and fans at home. The stars were in shock as they rushed to hug the axed stars. Megan reassured her pals and said: "Guys, it's all fine, we've done this before," as they said their goodbyes.

Conor said: "Our time has come to an end, I've loved every minute of it. It's made me so many good friends that I will be friends with for years and I've found someone." It comes after Love Island fans begged producers to axe one contestant after a bitter row.

One fan said on Twitter/X: "megan and connor over dejon and meg? i’d hate to know what kinda relationships people voting are in lol," while another added: "MEGAN AND CONNOR. THIS IS RIGGED. WHO VOTED FOR DEJON AND MEG?! OWN UP NOW. NOW."

Another fan voiced their annoyance over the couple being dumped over Meg and Dejon, writing: "Gutted to seeing the both of them being dumped from the villa. So happy for the both of them being together. And it should have been Meg & Dejon."

Meanwhile, Helena and Blu were booted from the villa just days before the final.

Viewers have been guessing which of the remaining six would be the last couple eliminated before the winner is announced. Last night, the Islanders participated in the Knowing Me, Knowing You challenge, presented by Yas and Jamie.

The Islanders faced a series of questions, some lighthearted, and others more serious. Despite several rows withing the game, it was Meg and Dejon alongside Shakira and Harry who emerged triumphant.

This led to Dejon and Meg clashing over his choice to pick Yas when asked who he would pair up with if his partner wasn't available. Meg was stunned by his remark and later confronted him about never revealing his attraction to Yas.

Dejon was hurt by her worries and blamed her for attempting to embarrass him in front of the cameras. He said at the fire pit: "You're trying to make me look bad. And I don't understand why you are trying to make me look bad."

Meg replied: "I am not trying to make you look bad." Dejon continued: "At the time, Billykiss was also in the villa. I said to Yas you are my number one. And then after you, it would be if I had to, it would be Yas and Billykiss."

When Meg said 'yeah', he questioned whether she recalled the conversation, which she confirmed she did.

Unsatisfied with her response, he continued: "I know but I know what I am saying. You just tried to act like I didn't tell you that. That's a big thing."

Meg defended her position, stating: "No, but you didn't say the words, if Meg wasn't there then she would be your number one priority. You didn't say them words, you said if Meg wasn't there, then it would be Yasmin and Billykiss."
