Lily James has been left "so upset" after ruining her teeth due to her vaping habit. The Mamma Mia actress has confessed she has been forced to undergo dental work after taking on the bad habit.

The Hollywood star uses flavoured vapes and admits the contents of it and the sugar has caused her teeth to rot and she has now had to have a filling, with the actress admitting it "f***ed up" her teeth.

"I prided myself that I'd never had a filling. I did just recently get one - I was so upset. Apparently it's from flavoured vapes, which are full of sugar. They f***ed my teeth," she said, according to the Daily Mail.

Lily also revealed she had to have braces twice because she decided not to wear her retainer. She explained she had started wearing it again to help with her teeth.

"I had braces twice because I never wore my retainer, which I'm doing again now," she explained. Meanwhile, Lily has previously been open about her physical and mental health, particularly when she transformed into Pamela Anderson for a movie about her life.

"It was such a screwed-up process," she told us,"You just have to be patient with yourself. The hours are so long and you feel really burnt out. Your nervous system is just like, shot to s**t. I felt like a real wreck at the end of it.

"I’d go around in a blonde wig because I just felt that I needed to hold on to her a little bit. The difference from me to her was too extreme to go back and forth. So, I had to stay in this middle no man’s land of like Lily/Pamela most of the time."

Lily also had to physically transform for her role as Pamela. Speaking about how she stuck with her regime after filming wrapped, her personal trainer Matt Bevan said: "Lily learned to love exercising and the way your body feels when you have control over it and you are healthy. It was similar with the diet; it’s about experiencing how you feel physically and mentally when you are fuelling your body in the correct way.

"Lily has now experienced that, and even post-filming adjusts her lifestyle to make better choices when it comes to food and exercise. She also works out on her own now, if we can’t make the time difference work. She has become really self-sufficient – which should be a goal for every trainer and their client."
