Emmerdale fans 'work out' who pushes Joe as 'cover-up sealed'

With one villager set to take brutal action against villain Joe Tate, fans think they already know the culprit.

Joe, played by actor Ned Porteous, will be shoved out of a window at Home Farm in an eerie whodunnit later this week. A number of suspects have been named in a promo image, featuring characters including his brother Noah Dingle, his uncle Caleb Miligan, his lover Dawn Taylor and her husband Billy Fletcher.

Completing the line-up are Dawn's daughter Clemmie, Caleb's wife Ruby Miligan, Noah's mother Charity Dingle and his Caleb's brother Cain Dingle - not forgetting Kerry Wyatt. As an event takes place at the scene of the crime prior to the twist unfolding, we will see a number of people want Joe to face his comeuppance.

Several of his dark crimes and secrets come to light, from him drugging Noah and causing the limo crash, to him having Caleb stabbed in order to steal his kidney and his affair with Dawn. The villain is exposed and judging by the suspect list, multiple characters find out his many lies.

Kerry being on the suspect list could well mean she finds out what he did to Noah, leading to the crash that killed her daughter Amy Wyatt. It's safe to say that multiple villagers will want to bring an end to Joe.

One person does take brutal action, while what specifically happens remains under wraps. We don't know if Joe lives to tell the tale, with actor Ned having teased all about the deadly storyline but keeping quiet on his fate.

Now, fans are convinced scenes this week have given away who pushes Joe out of the window. This and the promo image has sparked suspicion over one character in particular.

Viewers think Clemmie biting Joe and having drama with him, leading to his threats to her, could give her a motive. There's also the fact he's split her family apart, with her mum Dawn's affair with Joe leading to her ending her marriage to Billy.

We've seen Clemmie confide in Billy about Joe's threats and the fact she spotted the pair kissing, confirming the affair. Billy wants revenge like the others, but could it actually be Clemmie, included in the suspects list, that goes through with the grim act?

Might it lead to a cover-up as someone tries to protect her? Viewers certainly think this will be the case, with Clemmie now tipped to be Joe's attacker.

One viewer said: "I dunno why I think Clemmie [does it] and Kim covers it up!" Another fan agreed: "Got to be Clemmie," as a third fan posted: "Kim not being on the list makes Kim look more suspicious. If she was on the list, I wouldn't think her. I do think from the list it would be Clemmie or Noah."

Meanwhile, actor Ned who plays Joe told The of filming the big twist: "It was a fun day and handled very well. It could’ve been a stressful environment on set but it was just lovely when you get to act with other people on the show, especially when you’re up here at Home Farm, you feel quite secular in your work environment. There’s a multitude of super talented people on the show so it’s super fun for me to work with them every now and again. It’s a little bit daunting - all eyes on you."
