Controversial commentator Candace Owens said she was 'coming for Brigitte Macron's medical records' in a bizarre rant against the French first lady. Emmanuel Macronand his wife took legal action against the right-wing pundit after she repeatedly made bizarre claims to her audience that the 72-year-old was born a man.
Amid the lawsuit, Candace doubled down and said she wanted Brigitte to undergo a medical exam with an 'independent doctor'. She said on Monday: "We're going to demand Brigitte sit down for an exam with an independent doctor. We're coming for her medical records."
Meanwhile, Brigitte is planning to provide photographic evidence to prove she's a woman to a court in the US. The lawyer for the French leader and his wife, Brigitte, said they will present the photographs in support of their defamation case against right-wing influencer Candace.

The defamation suits, launched in July, accuse the influencer of propagating "outlandish, defamatory, and far-fetched fictions" that fuelled a lie-filled "campaign of global humiliation" and "relentless bullying".
Speaking on the BBC's Fame Under Fire podcast, lead counsel Tom Clare said the couple were ready to prove "generically and specifically" how Owens' claims are false.
Without getting into further details, he said lawyers will rely on "expert testimony" that "will be scientific in nature".
Mr Clare said Candace's comments were "extremely upsetting" to the French couple. "It is incredibly upsetting to think that you have to go and subject yourself, to put this type of proof forward," he said.
However, Brigitte is willing to "subject herself to [this process] in a very public way" in order to "do what it takes to set the record straight".
In March last year, Candace said she would bet her "entire professional reputation" that Brigitte was "in fact a man".
The bizarre allegations are rooted in a long-standing conspiracy theory that Brigitte was born as Jean-Michel Trogneux, which is actually the name of her brother.
Candace, who has millions of followers on social media, not only shared this unfounded theory but also released a video series titled Becoming Brigitte earlier this year, where she persisted in echoing these statements.
In response to the Macrons' legal action, Candace's lawyers filed a motion to dismiss, saying the case shouldn't be heard in Delaware and claiming defending it there would cause "substantial financial and operational hardship".
She believes the claims she made fall under free speech, telling MailOnline: "This isn't France, where Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron get to do whatever they want. This is America.
"You don't get to skip discovery just because you're a foreign world leader angry about a podcaster's First Amendment rights."
