The wait is nearly over for the return of the cherished period drama All Creatures Great and Small.
Since 2020, Channel 5 audiences have been following veterinarian James Herriot's story (played by Nicholas Ralph) as he tackles the trials of Yorkshire existence.
Throughout his journey, he's found love and wed Helen Herriot (Rachel Shenton), whilst forging strong bonds with Siegfried Farnon (Samuel West), Mrs Hall (Anna Madeley), and Tristan Farnon (Callum Woodhouse).

Now, James and his companions are making their comeback for another series, though one cherished character seems to have left Skeldale House.
Before series six arrives, the cast hinted at what viewers might witness in a brief clip posted on Channel 5's Instagram page, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Given the challenge of persuading audiences to tune into the upcoming episodes within 15 seconds, star Nicholas Ralph revealed: "This year is going to be a real special one, for various reasons, a lot of which I can't tell you about!
"Things change quite drastically for the characters and for the piece in general, so tune in, find out what it's all about, and it's pretty damn joyful, I think."
At the same time, star Callum Woodhouse assured supporters it's a 'brilliant' fresh series featuring even more animals, including a parrot.
He quipped: "I'm still in it! That's the main reason you should be watching it."
Soon after, viewers began responding to the upload, with numerous fans expressing their enthusiasm for All Creatures Great and Small's comeback.
One person said: "Counting down the days till we're back home in the Dales. Thank you to the cast and crew for making this show so full of love and kindness."
Another shared: "You don't need to convince us! It's literally one of the best TV series that exists."
Someone else wrote: "I'm still in it"....Callum Woodhouse. Well then, I'm sold." One fan commented: "Great series and awesome cast!"
One person added, "No need to convince. I'm totally in love with the show. It's a simple, peaceful story. We need that. No evil, no mean people. That's what we need in our days."
