Earthquake in Tibet Today: A strong earthquake struck the Tibet region of China today (23 May 2025) morning. Earthquake tremors were felt in Tibet at 9:27 am. Its intensity was measured at 4.2 on the Richter scale. The National Center for Seismology (NCS) has given information about this. The epicenter of the earthquake was near the China and Nepal border. Earlier also earthquake tremors were felt in Tibet. People came out of their houses after the earthquake.
There is no news of loss of life or property
The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 20 km from the ground. No loss of life or property has been confirmed so far after the earthquake. The concerned agencies are monitoring the situation. Earlier, strong tremors of earthquake were felt at around 2:41 am on the night of May 12. Its intensity was measured at 5.7 on the Richter scale. The National Center for Seismology (NCS) gave this information. After the earthquake, people came out of their homes. However, no news of loss of life or property came to light. Earthquakes keep happening here every day.

Earthquake hit Indonesia today too
This morning, strong tremors of earthquake were felt in the southern Sumatra region of Indonesia. Its intensity was measured at 5.9 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was 10 kilometers inside the ground. Although there is no news of anyone being injured or loss of life and property, but the danger of earthquake remains in these areas.
