Following a video showing a young woman dancing on the bonnet of a moving Mercedes-Benz went viral on social media, the incident has prompted swift police action, with two booked for multiple violations .
As per the preliminary report filed by the Kharghar police, the incident is reported to have occurred on July 20 around 5:30 PM near Prashant Corner Sweet Mart, Sector 34 of Kharghar.
The accused are identified as Alfesh Azam Shaikh and Rafiq Sulde, both aged 24 and residents of Sai World Empire in Sector 36 . The driver is alleged to have allowed Najamin Sulde to perform the dangerous act atop their moving car.

According to the FIR filed by Constable Sanjay Janardan Salvi of the Kharghar Traffic Division, the driver was operating the Mercedes-Benz (MH 19 BJ 7196) without a valid license, without displaying the mandatory learner’s sign, and without a qualified supervisor present. " The car was being driven in a negligent manner, putting not only the passengers but also bystanders at risk. The role of the woman is also under investigation and appropriate legal action is being taken against her as well," said the investigating officer Ramchandra Yamgar
