A shocking incident has come to light from Jamunda village in Igatpuri taluka, Nashik district, where a mob attacked police officers and tore their clothes. The incident occurred on March 30 after the Igatpuri police were called to investigate a body found under a tree in Dhadwadi Shivara.
The body, confirmed as that of Bahu Sakharam Darwade. The body was brought to the hospital for additional analysis. When the victim's family members expressed concerns of foul play the next day, the police reassured them that more measures would be taken following the autopsy results.
However, when the police returned to the village for investigation, a mob attacked them, preventing any further progress. Despite a case being registered against 50 to 60 unidentified individuals, no arrests have been made as of now.

The autopsy report has confirmed that the cause of death was hanging. Deputy Superintendent of Police Harish Khedkar has stated that a thorough investigation will proceed based on the complaint from the victim's relatives.
