KCET 2025 Counselling: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened up the option entry procedure for KCET 2025 counselling. The candidates can now access the official KEA portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in to update their chosen courses and colleges for admission.
In addition to the introduction of the option entry, KEA has also made available the first-round provisional seat matrix. The seat matrix gives a category-wise detailed breakup involving:
-Engineering General Quota
-Engineering Kalyana Karnataka Quota
-Engineering Special Category Quota
-Agriculture and Veterinary General and Kalyana Karnataka Category (Practical and Special Category Quotas)
Previously, KEA had allowed candidates to edit their application forms and download verification slips, which was a compulsory step in counselling. This window was kept open until July 4, 2025, so that aspirants could make the last-minute changes and ensure they were eligible for counselling attendance.
Though the option entry is live now, the full counselling schedule that includes major events like mock allotment, final allotment, document verification, and admission dates remains awaited. Candidates are requested to visit the KEA website frequently for the latest updates.
