Suryakumar Yadav and other Mumbai Indians players were seen searching for the ball along with the cameramen as it went for a six in the IPL 2025 game against the Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. In a video shared by Star Sports on social media, the players were seen searching the ball for at least five minutes.
The incident occurred in the ninth over of the innings as Dhruv Jurel hit a ball bowled by leg-spinner Karn Sharma for a maximum and the ball went past the park. Suryakumar Yadav, who was patrolling the boundary, was hilariously being assisted by a few cameramen in searching the ball.

Mumbai Indians coast to a crushing 100-run win and top the points table
Earlier in the night, Riyan Parag had won the toss and put Mumbai into bat. Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton took their time but shifted gears in the fifth over when the latter took Jofra Archer for 18 runs off the six balls he bowled After both batters hit fifties, they departed in successive overs. However, Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya didn't let the top-order batters' go into waste. Instead, they carried on with gusto, propelling their side to 217/2.
Deepak Chahar made the first incision by removing the mercurial Vaibhav Suryavanshi for a duck, while Trent Boult dismissed Yashasvi Jaiswal and Nitish Rana. The former looked in promising touch with two consecutive sixes but got castled by Boult immediately after that.
Bumrah struck twice in his first over, dismissing Riyan Parag and Shimron Hetmyer for single-figure scores, sending half of their side back to the pavilion. The fact that Jofra Archer was their top-scorer with 30 painted a sorry picture for the Royals, crumbling to 117 and eventually losing by 100 runs.
In the process, Mumbai Indians' net run-rate zoomed massively.
