In a move to accommodate the extra rush of passengers during summer, Railways has announced the extension of the periodicity of special trains running between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) Mumbai–Madgaon and Hadapsar–Hisar.
Train No. 01103 LTT Mumbai–Madgaon Weekly Special, which earlier was scheduled to run only up to May 26, 2025, will now continue to operate every Monday until June 9, 2025.
Likewise, the return service, Train No. 01104 Madgaon–LTT Mumbai Weekly Special, which was earlier notified to run up to May 25, 2025, will now operate every Sunday until June 8, 2025, adding two additional trips in each direction.
Similarly, Train No. 04726 Hadapsar–Hisar Weekly Special, which was originally scheduled to run until May 26, 2025, has now been extended by five more trips and will run every Monday until June 30, 2025.
The corresponding return service, Train No. 04725 Hisar–Hadapsar Weekly Special, has also been extended by five trips, running every Sunday until June 29, 2025. Railways have confirmed that there will be no changes in the days of operation, timings, halts, or coach compositions of these trains.
Reservation for the extended trips of Train No. 01103 and Train No. 04726 is now open and tickets can be booked at all computerized reservation centers and through the IRCTC website at .In addition, Central Railway will revise the coach composition of two prominent express trains.
Train No. 12219/12220 LTT–Secunderabad–LTT Duronto Express will operate with a revised composition from June 7, 2025, ex-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and from June 6, 2025, ex-Secunderabad.
The new rake configuration will consist of One AC First Class, Four AC 2-Tier, Ten AC 3-Tier coaches, One Second Seating-cum-Guard’s Brake Van, and One Generator Car, totaling 17 coaches.
Likewise, Train No. 22155/22156 Kalaburagi–Kolhapur–Kalaburagi Express will also run with a revised composition starting from June 10, 2025, ex-Kalaburagi and ex-Kolhapur.
The updated configuration will include Two AC 3-Tier, Three Sleeper Class, Ten Second Class Chair Car, Three General Second Class, and Two Second Seating-cum-Guard’s Brake Van coaches, making up a total of 20 coaches.In another update, Railways has announced changes in the halt timings of two express trains at specific stations.
Train No. 10106 Sawantwadi Road–Diva Express will now arrive at Diva station at 7 PM instead of the previously scheduled 7:29 PM, and will depart at 7:01 PM, effective from June 2, 2025.
Train No. 19259 Trivandrum North–Bhavnagar Express will arrive at Roha station at 7.55 PM instead of 8:05 PM, with departure at 7.58 PM, effective from June 5, 2025.
