Palak Tiwari, daughter of television superstar Shweta Tiwari, is quickly carving her own niche in Bollywood, not just with her films but with her no-filter charm too. After grabbing eyeballs with her debut in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and the viral Bijlee Bijlee track, the starlet is back in the spotlight for her latest horror-comedy, The Bhootnii, alongside Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, and Sanjay Dutt. But during a recent promo interview, it wasn’t ghosts that raised eyebrows, it was her over-the-top high school love story.
In a candid chat with Instant Bollywood, Palak was asked if she had ever done something truly “crazy” in love. Without missing a beat, she dove into a dramatic teenage tale that sounds straight out of a coming-of-age romcom. Apparently, during one of many high school tiffs with her then-boyfriend, Palak refused to let him leave mid-argument. He was supposed to get on his school bus to go home, while the diva was driven home in her car.
Palak revealed that she had been mentally preparing a monologue since the fourth period that day. Determined to get her point across, she admitted to pulling her boyfriend back by his bag nearly 200 times to stop him from leaving. Result? He missed his bus… and had to stay back at school the entire night. Yep, the entire night. While recounting the story, Palak laughed at how intense she was back then, but her co-stars were left in stitches.
