A resolution on atrocities on Bengali-speaking migrants will be brought in the West Bengal assembly and discused for two days, starting from Wednesday. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is likely to be present on Thursday during discussion.

Meanwhile, security, both private and CISF, with arms will not be allowed inside West Bengal State assembly, except Chief Minister's security, following directives of the Calcutta High Court, West Bengal Speaker said on Monday.

The assembly special session started today. A resolution was brought in the assembly over atrocities on Bengali speaking migrants in various BJP ruled states.

The Speaker said that a resolution is likely to be brought and discussion will take place on Wednesday and Thursday.

Sobhabdeb Chattopadhyay, the Parliamentary affairs minister, moved the resolution today.

The Speaker said Lok Sabha and other assemblies do not allow armed security inside the premises. HC had observed if opposition security is not allowed inside the House, no security will be allowed.

"The CM security is essential inside and outside the assembly. So, I have allowed CM security. Restrictins will be applicable for all. No armed security will be allowed, be it private and state or CISF" the Speaker said.
