Firstsource Solutions, a global provider of Business Process Management (BPM) services and an RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group company, has appointed Shamita Mukherjee it's Chief Human Resources Officer, effective May 5, 2025, the company said in a statement on Monday.
She is a post-graduate of XLRI, Jamshedpur where she specializedategies, cultivating future-ready skills, and furthering a culture that embraces continuous learning, adaptability, innovation and a growth mindset.

Mukherjee joins Firstsource from Infosys where she was Global CHRO for their BPM business. With over three decades in the industry, of which two were in various leadership roles at Infosys, she brings extensive experience and expertise to Firstsource.
She is a post-graduate of XLRI, Jamshedpur where she specialized in personnel management and industrial relations, and an undergraduate in mathematical statistics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi.
