Overseas buyers from over 110 countries including the US, Russia, UK, UAE, Hong Kong and Switzerland are expected to participate in the 60th IHGF Delhi Fair to be held from October 13-17 in Greater Noida.
The fair is organized by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts ( EPCH) and will feature major display segments spanning Home, Fashion, Lifestyle, Furnishing, Furniture, and Interior Products, consolidated into 16 comprehensive categories.
“Since its inception in 1994, IHGF Delhi Fair has evolved into one of the world’s most relevant marketplaces and a preferred destination for global buyers, owing to its unparalleled business opportunities both within India and beyond,” said Rakesh Kumar, Director General in the role of Chief Mentor, EPCH and Chairman, IEML.
Visitors profile to the show includes overseas buyers from across the globe comprising wholesalers, distributors, chain stores, departmental stores, retailers,
mail-order companies, brand owners, buying houses and designers and trend forecasters besides buying representatives and domestic volume buyers.
“This year, the façade of the fair has been specially designed around the theme ‘Wave of progress’ which beautifully reflects the diversity, vibrancy, and dynamic spirit of Indian crafts,” said Neeraj Khanna, Chairman, EPCH.
Representatives from companies and departmental stores who have already confirmed their visit to the show include
Australia’s Ecodownunder Pty Ltd, Hong Kong’s WHSmith Global Sourcing Ltd, Japan’s Kowa Company Limited, the UK’s Essential Designs London Ltd, according to RK Verma, Executive Director, EPCH.
Since its past few editions the show has also welcomed volume retail buying from domestic players as well such as Aditya Birla Fashion, AJIO, Pepperfry, Reliance Retail, Fabindia Limited, Hilton, Landmark Group, Lifestyle International, Taj Group of Hotels and Trent Limited, the council said.
India’s handicrafts exports in 2024-25 were $3.9 billion.
