A total of 54378 candidates of the 180422 who appeared in both papers 1 and 2 have qualified in JEE (Advanced) 2025. Rajit Gupta of IIT Delhi zone is the top ranker in the Common Rank List (CRL), scoring 332 out of 360 marks.
Devdutta Majhi of IIT Kharagpur zone is the top-ranked female candidate with CRL 16. She obtained 312 out of 360 marks.
According to a press release issued by the organising chairperson, JEE (Advanced) 2025, out of the total qualified candidates, 9404 are female and 44974 are male. Total number of qualified general candidates is 17511 and that of qualified general (economically weaker sections) candidates is 6500. A total of 12822 OBC-NCL have qualified, as have 12528 SC candidates and 5017 ST candidates.

Dharmana Gnana Rutvik Sai of the IIT Hyderabad zone has topped in the OBC-NCL category; Vangala Ajay Reddy of IIT Hyderabad zone in GEN (EWS); Shreyas Lohiya of IIT Kanpur zone in SC and Parth Sehra of IIT Delhi zone in ST category.

IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi zones both have the maximum number of candidates in the top 100 at 31 each; followed by IIT Hyderabad zone with 23. There are 6 candidates in the top 100 from the IIT Roorkee zone; 5 from IIT Kharagpur zone; 4 from IIT Kanpur zone.
IIT Bombay zone has the maximum number of candidates in the top 500 with 145; followed by the IIT Hyderabad with 139 and the IIT Delhi zone with 111.
IIT Hyderabad leads in terms of the maximum number of qualified candidates – 12946 – from there, followed by IIT Delhi zone with 11370 and IIT Bombay zone with 11226.
