Ratlam (Madhya Pradesh) [India], October 27 (ANI): A fire was reported in the engine of a train en route to Ratlam between Runija and Naugaon in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. The blaze was swiftly brought under control and there are no reports of any injuries or loss of life, a senior officer said.
The incident occurred at around 5:20 p.m. when the engine of train suddenly caught fire.
Indore Ratlam PRO Khemraj Meena told ANI, "A fire broke out in the engine of the DEMU train (no. 09347) travelling from Dr Ambedkar Nagar (Mhow) to Ratlam today. The incident occurred between Runija and Naugaon, near Ratlam, at approximately 5:20 pm. Thanks to prompt assistance from locals and authorities, the blaze was swiftly brought under control. The train's engine was detached and replaced at Pritampura, allowing the train to continue its journey to Ratlam with a new engine. Fortunately, all passengers on board are safe, and there are no reports of any injuries or loss of life."
The fire has been controlled and there is no loss of life in it. (ANI)
