Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], September 5 (ANI): Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa, on the rainfall havoc in the state, said on Friday that the Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has been taking the situation very seriously and has also ordered the ministers to visit the affected areas in cases of disasters, crop damage, or excessive rainfall.
Speaking to ANI, Rajasthan Deputy CM said, "This time, there has been a good amount of rain in Rajasthan, but heavy rainfall has also occurred in many areas. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has always directed ministers to visit affected areas in cases of disasters, crop damage, or excessive rainfall."
"Even yesterday, ministers were instructed to do the same... The CM has been taking this situation very seriously," Bairwa added.
He further said that all the ministers will conduct a ground inspection for two days and report to the Chief Minister on the damage that has happened.

Meanwhile, amid heavy rainfall in Rajasthan's Ajmer, the wall of the Boraj dam collapsed on Thursday night. Due to this, streets were flooded and water entered the houses of people, leading to property damage. The police closed the road and rescued the people.
Speaking to ANI, a local resident, Arun, said, "Now the water level is quite normal; it has decreased significantly compared to before. Everyone around is safe...The water was leaking slowly, which caused the flow to increase a bit, worsening the situation."

He added that the administration had already warned everyone to be cautious and watch out for themselves.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the forecast for today and tomorrow in Ajmer says, "Generally cloudy sky with Heavy rain". It says, "Generally cloudy sky with moderate rain" for September 7 and 8 and "Partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain or Thunderstorm" for September 9 and 10. (ANI)
