RRB JE Vacancy 2025: Big news for young people dreaming of becoming a Junior Engineer (JE) in the Railways. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the notification for JE Recruitment 2025. This time, 2,570 vacancies are available. Forms will be filled out on rrbapply.gov.in from October 31, 2025, and the deadline is November 30, 2025. However, it's worth noting that this year's vacancies are significantly lower than last year's 7,951, and there's no relaxation in the age limit. This time, there are a total of 2,570 Junior Engineer (JE) positions. These vacancies are divided into RRB zones across the country, such as:

Who can apply?
To apply for these positions, candidates must have a degree or diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications from a recognized university/institute. For JE (IT), a BCA, PGDCA, or a 3-year DOEACC 'B' level course will also be accepted.
Special qualifications are required for a Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant. Regarding the age limit, the minimum age for these positions is 18 years, and the maximum age is 33 years. The previous age limit was 36 years, but a 3-year relaxation was granted due to COVID. Similarly, SC/ST candidates will receive a 5-year relaxation, while OBC candidates will receive a 3-year relaxation.
How will the selection process be conducted?
1. CBT-1: 90 minutes, 100 questions (1 question = 1 mark), negative marking (1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer).
Subjects: Mathematics, General Intelligence, General Science, General Awareness.
2. CBT-2: 120 minutes, 150 questions.
Subjects: Technical subjects, Physics-Chemistry, Computer, Environment, General Awareness.
3. Document Verification: Documents will be checked if passed.
4. Medical Test: Fitness will be checked.
The merit list will be prepared based on CBT-2, so passing both exams is mandatory.
What is the fee?
General/Other candidates will have to pay a fee of ₹500 to apply for these positions. ₹400 is refundable upon completion of the exam. SC/ST, women, differently-abled, EWS, and ex-servicemen will have to pay an application fee of ₹250, which will be fully refunded upon completion of the exam.

3. Register by filling in details such as name, date of birth, qualifications, etc.

Why rush?
A railway job means a permanent job, a good salary, and numerous benefits. However, this time, seats are limited and there is no age relaxation. If you don't fill out the form before November 30th, you'll lose your chance.
