RPSC SI Recruitment 2025: Application starts for Rajasthan SI and Platoon Commander posts, check eligibility, fees and other details..

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has issued a recruitment to fill a total of 1015 vacant posts of Sub-Inspector and Platoon Commander, for which the online application process has started. Candidates who want to become Sub Inspector in the Police Department and are eligible for this recruitment can fill the application form on the official website of RPSCrpsc.rajasthan.gov.in or by visiting the SSO portal. The last date to fill out the application form has been fixed as 08 September 2025.

What is the qualification?

To apply for Rajasthan SI Platoon Commander posts, the candidate should have obtained a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university/institute or should have an equivalent qualification. There should be knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture. Along with this, the minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 20 years, and the maximum age should not be more than 25 years. Candidates coming from the reserved category have been given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules. Age will be calculated keeping in mind 01 January 2026.

Physical Qualification

To participate in this recruitment, the minimum height of male candidates should be 166 cm, and the minimum height of female candidates should be 152 cm. Apart from this, the weight of women should be at least 47.5kg. The chest of male candidates should be 81 cm without inflation and 86 cm with inflation.

Application Process

To apply for this recruitment, you have to go to the commission's website rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in and click on the apply online link or log in to the SSO portal sso.rajasthan.gov.in and select the recruitment portal available in the Citizen App (G2C) and do One Time Registration (OTR). After OTR, the candidates can complete the application process by logging in to the portal and going to the recruitment portal.

Application Fee

Along with filling out the application form for this recruitment, candidates from General (Unreserved)/ Backward Class (Creamy Layer)/ Extremely Backward Class Creamy Layer will have to deposit Rs 600. SC/ ST/ Backward Class (Non Creamy Layer)/ Extremely Backward Class Non Creamy Layer/ Economically Weaker Section/ Sahariya/ Primitive Tribe candidates will have to deposit a fee of Rs 400.

Recruitment Details
A total of 1015 vacant posts will be filled through this recruitment. As per the post, 896 posts are reserved for Sub Inspector (AP), 4 posts for Sub Inspector (AP) Sahariya, 25 posts for Sub Inspector (AP) Scheduled Area, 26 posts for Sub Inspector (IB) and 64 posts for Platoon Commander (RAC).
