Arsenal's departing sporting director Edu Gaspar could be set for an immediate return to North London should he take up a new job with Evangelos Marinakis' clubs.
As first reported by the Daily Mail, right-hand man in the transfer market, is set to leave the club this week after five years in the boardroom. The 46-year-old first arrived as a technical director before advancing to sporting director in 2022.
In recent years, the Brazilian has become integral to Arsenal's transfer strategy and played a key role in the purchases of and . Initially, there was some confusion as to why Edu would have chosen to leave the Emirates Stadium considering how well the club and himself have been doing.
