Amanda Holden speaks out on 'crazy' move behind husband's back while on holiday

has confessed to doing something sneaky behind her husband Chris Hughes' back and has vowed to keep him in the dark until he notices. The 53-year-old radio host teased on Tuesday that she's altered something about her appearance during a recent holiday with her pal Jane and one of her daughters.

Despite being back from the trip for two days, she said her husband is yet to clock on to the change, despite him showering her with other compliments about her image. Speaking to her co-star Jason King aka JK on , she said: "So, I promised that I would disclose something to you that Christopher, my lovely husband, knows nothing about.

"Now, poor Chris says he's often kept in the dark about things anyway, I know he won't be listening at this point of the day." She went on to reveal that both of their children are in on the secret, as JK responded: "I'm worried about this."

Amanda then shared that one of their daughters was present when the mystery change occurred, and the other now wants the same thing done.

"There is something different about me and I have been home for 48 hours," she continued, prompting JK to joke: "Your hair looks lovely."

After confirming it wasn't her hair, she continued: "And my darling husband, who is always full of compliments, said I looked really well when I got back, this, that, and the other when I got back, [but] has still not noticed this difference.

"And I'm not going to tell him until he notices."

Before spilling the beans to JK, he confessed that he was "freaked out" by the impending reveal as she rose from her chair.

Once confronted with what he saw, he couldn't hide his astonishment and blurted out: "No! Why did you not tell me about this? That's crazy! I flipping love it!".

Amanda then disclosed that she decided to have, what appears to be a suspected tattoo, done with her friend Jane and that she'd probably spill the details over dinner tonight.

Wrapping up, the host assured listeners that the secret will be out in the open on tomorrow’s show, following Chris' anticipated enlightenment.
